Excited, delighted and honoured to be opening for The Appleseed Cast in October. We’ve been huge fans of this band for years so this is a biiiiiiiiiiig deal for us!

We’ve been a bit quiet on the shows front of late (hiding out in our practice room instead to write songs and re-jig our live set), which is why we’re really excited to announce that we’ll be touring the UK this June.
We’re doing all the dates with our good friend Scriber, and will be hitting up the following places:
Fri 7th June - Cardiff, Buffalo Bar
Sat 8th June - Brighton, The Green Door Store
Sun 9th June - Northampton, The Labour Club
Mon 10th June - Leicester, The Firebug
Tue 11th June - Dundee, Non Zeros
Wed 12th June - Glasgow, Broadcast
Thu 13th June - Manchester, Night & Day
Fri 14th June - Nottingham, The Chameleon
Sat 15th June - Norwich, The Hog in Armour
Sun 16th June - London, Birthdays (Among Brothers/Shady lane split 7” release show)
It’s our first full tour in almost a year, our first time playing in Scotland, and our first show in our spiritual hometown of Cardiff since Swn Festival last October, to name but a few reasons why this tour is going to be a bit special. If you live in any of the above places (or within reasonable traveling distance) please come down and mosh accordingly.
We’ll have copies of our 7” split with Shady Lane with us to sell on the tour, but if you can’t wait that long to get your hands on a copy then you pre-order the split from Kissability in the UK HERE.

In case you missed it last week, we’re proud to announce that our new single, “Jollica”, is out on the 27th May as a split with our Australian friends Shady Lane!
It’ll be out on 7” vinyl and digitally through Kissability in the UK, Rice is Nice in Australia, Cardinal White (run by Jess Abbott of Now Now/Tancred fame) in the US, and HOU Records in Japan, which is a pretty big deal with us considering it’s our first release outside of the UK.
You can listen listen to Shady Lane’s side of the split HERE, and our side (featuring some BRASSistance from our good friends Ben James and Jen Brooksby) below, and pre-order the split here.
While we can’t quite afford to put together an Among Bros world tour to promote the split in all four territories just yet (plane tickets are expensive, yo), we do have some UK dates in the pipeline for this summer, which we’ll be announcing soon!
To celebrate their 10th release, Kissability will be releasing a compilation featuring all the artists on the roster so far. It will be out on Record Store Day on limited edition 12” white vinyl.
Tracklisting:
01. DZ Deathrays - The Mess Up
02. Cut Ribbons - White Horses
03. Deaf Club - Sunday
04. Samoans - Catamaran
05. Fever Fever - The Chair
06. Splashh - The 15th
07. Among Brothers - Keep
08. Without Maps - Naked Light
09. Death At Sea - Drag
10. Thumpers - Velveteen
We’ve been relatively quiet this year, but let me assure you, things are constantly bubbling away under the surface. We are currently undertaking the unforgivingly long process of writing new songs.
Last weekend we made the drive back to our hometown of Cardiff to demo some new material which we’ve been passing back and forth in digital formats for quite some time, it was great to be able to actually transform those 1s and 0s in to something more alive, whilst catching up with some friends along the way.

BACK FROM TOUR. A huge, huge thanks to anyone that put us on, came to one of the shows, let us crash at their house, and all the bands we had the pleasure of sharing a stage with. Had the absolute best time, and we have the hangovers/colds/crushing lack of sleep to prove it. Now for the inevitable onslaught on post-tour depression…

P.S: We still have a few copies of the “I Am Certain…” 7” left after tour, which you can purchase from here if you’re that way inclined.
In case you missed it yesterday, here’s the video for our new single “I Am Certain”. Featuring an Oscar-grade performance from our main man Joshua Price aka Scriber, who is supporting us on the Bristol date of our tour this weekend. Make sure to get down early to catch his set at that show before Hollywood inevitably comes a-knockin’ and he has to give up music to pursue a lucrative acting career.
Still copies of the the 7” single available HERE, and you can buy the digital version of the single from iTunes HERE.
Two rather exciting announcements for you today. Firstly, the video for our new single, “I Am Certain”, premiered on Noisey earlier today, which you can watch HERE. They described it as being “Filled with all the drama of musical theater…but not shit”, which I choose to take as a compliment.
Secondly, some pretty great news for those of you who will be joining us for our single launch at Electricity Showrooms in London this Thursday, as we can finally announce that the ‘special guests’ for that show will be the almighty Spring Offensive! We had the pleasure of sharing with them a stage a few weeks back in Oxford, and were completely blown away - one of the tightest and most captivating bands we’ve ever seen live. Make sure to get down early to catch them and Honey, both of whom will be brilliant.

Our newest single “I Am Certain I Do Not Believe” is released today on 7” vinyl through Too Pure Singles Club as part of their November release. If you are not subscribed to the Singles Club you can still pick a copy up from our Bandcamp page and record shops around the country and download the tracks off iTunes.
We will also be taking a limited number of vinyls on our tour next week and any shows after that if we have any left.
